Not me. I have never had a Christmas alone in my life. I had my first New Year alone last year.........and I really quite enjoyed it.

I've spent several Christmas's and other holidays alone even after my parents passed away.
I had 3 older brothers who were still living but I still spent the holidays alone but I also volunteered at soup kitchens etc during the holiday seasons.
This Christmas I won't be alone I'll be with my guy.
My heart goes out to ALL the many people who are alone.No one should be alone.

Too many sad things that have happened for me in this time of the season. I am sure it all will pass by, but for me it is lonely and a absence of what is gone and what is not and never came to be. It might as well be me nailed to that cross, That....that is how I feel usually, I am not against the possibility that somehow it will change. Sometimes we get a bit of forgiveness and people sometimes come together even in sorrow. I hope that somehow that comes to be the case in my life, and I wish good for others as well.

I agree - is it too selfish to enjoy the alone time 
yet the pressure is off by not having to fake being happy with too much family time.
