I just want to say thankyou for being so kind to me since i joined C/S --you have been brilliant !
our banter in the word game has been a joy to me -
you make me smile and laugh there , and in your numerous one liners on the threads

This year has been pretty good for me if I am honest.
I've shed a few tears along the way but all in all I am quite happy and have a renewed belief in myself that has been missing.
I am living in a village with practically no amenities but with a HUGE community spirit. Its great to feel like you belong where you are living and until I experienced it, I didnt realise how much it was missing.
I started the year feeling down about myself not working and have ended it working someone I love, with amazing people and thoroughly enjoying the structure it has brought me.
There were a difficult month or two at the end of the summer which could have brought me down but i dug my heels in and refused to allow myself be beaten.
I've made some new friends off here that I sincerely hope our friendships will continue into 2013 and beyond.
My closeness with my sister has grown in the past year and for that I am grateful. My son constantly brings joy into my life and my appreciation for my parents knows no bounds.
I have meet people this year for whom I will always have a fondness for and I wish them every happiness in the coming year. Some people do not realise their potential and I really wish they the goodness within.
My only wish for the christmas period is that the cleaning fairies would swoop down and clean my house for me.
Well that and I get out to rock this new dress of mine again.
So in ending 2012 I have an healthy PMA and long may it continue.

Thinking back over the year, I honestly can't think of anything negative. I'm sure there were times when things didn't go right, but if there were, they obviously weren't important because none come to mind now....
I must have had a pretty mundane year though, because no moments of great joy stand out either (well, apart from the obvious day in late September).
I'm happy with that, steady as she goes......

this has been a strange year for me really, started it off in a relationship which ended the night before valentines day. moved on from that and met someone who has now become one of my best friends and id like to think he will be around for a good few years to come.
iv met a few people off here with a view to seeing what happens for it to fizzle out, i promised myself over and over that i wouldnt let myself care about someone too soon and for the most part iv done well. that said there has been one i truly let in and allowed myself to fully care about only for it to end in disappointment but thats how it goes.
while my love life may have shuddered to a halt i have made some new friends on here and i am very thankful to be able to call them friends. im also thankful that im now doing a job i love and while its not the best paid or the best hours at times it is so nice to be able to fix peoples animals and hand them back.
i dont know what 2013 holds, would like to think by this time next year i will have a special someone to share christmas with but at the same time im not too bothered if that doesnt happen. id like to be in a better position financially with a view to getting my own place in 2014 though that might be wishful thinking

yes indeed , for many of us it has been a year of ups and downs - highs and lows -but it is always good to have hope for better -
and the strength of the human spirit can often surprise us , when we are sorely tested , and yet we can find that inner strength to carry on
your joy and profesionalism you have for your work shines through so much --and i know your career will only climb higher , due to your dedication to all in your care .
