Dadude62: i had a date with a lady I met on here a while back. We were having lunch and the discussion went into politics. She professed to be "conservative", and went on about all these entitlements and people on the take,,,
I said to her,,, imagine this scenario, you are on an island with 3 sons, one of them being very smart, high IQ, visionary, gifted. The other 2 average folk, good hard workers, not prone to create things. The gifted son sees a way to create a good comfortable system of living on the island and puts his 2 brothers to work and pays them a living wage. After a while a lot of wealth and a nice system is created. Now,, the gifted one decides he does not need the other 2 anymore and cuts their wages lays them off, after all he's got his, the other 2 are just slackers on the take.
I asked my date,, You are the government,, what would you do?
She looked at me puzzled,, and after a while said,, redistribute the wealth,,,
