Ask a certain someone to join me for an evening at my kitchen table. I would cook him a meal that would hopefully please him, followed by a glass of wine in front of my fireplace.
I would envision on evening of talking about everything under the sun, discovering who he was, who he is, what makes him ticks, what makes him smile, and offer him the same in return.
My expectations would be no more than that.
My only expectation would be an evening that lasted until the sunrise, a hug, and...
He already knows what I would enjoy for breakfast.

The fireplace is wood burning but is currently filled with candles because I'm too afraid to light a real fire, just in case there is a bird's nest in my chimney. Lots of birds around here.
