Seemingly Rodgers and the club told him last year they would facilitate a move to a champions league club if they didn't make the top 4! Also arguing about a release clause in his contract. Liverpool dealing very badly with this. What player would listen to them in negotiations now??

I agree he is a good player when on song but you know when you buy him you will get all the baggage too. Every club thinks they will change him but he is scum and that wont change. Just like Terry or Barton.
If he is worth 50 million at 26 then Rooney is worth far more than the 30 mill Chelsea want to pay at 27?
