Lots of peeps do take a look at a pic and make decisions. I'm guilty of that, and no amount of telling me off will/can stop me doing it. It's a natural thing to make flash decisions on attractiveness.

I have to agree with other replies, looks may not be everything but if I'm not attracted to someones photo, I'm not going to initiate contact....and yes, I have been known to send the first mail
