for some, emotions are definitely chaotic. for others...they are far more predictable. personally, i can pretty much tell you what my reaction will be to ANY scenario...i know myself, and i control my emotions pretty well...
for others, and maybe the cause of anxiety...is that they can't.
There was a reason I said it, and it wasn't D&D related. *insert hand yapping smiley here* There are many forms of chaos and bedlam that consume this world. Those 2 forms of chaos are good and bad - all I was going to add at this time.
I think you don't understand what I am saying. I do not keep those type of people in my life who are emotional, chaotic, etc. I am not saying I don't show emotion, but am careful of being responsible with my emotions to not "stress" someone. You can not say whatever you want when you are angry, mad, etc. and not expect to have repercussion. Responsible emotional responses so that you don't have to apologize for being a jerk later.
Its the "predictable" people who worry me. We all have watched TV and seen the interviews of seriel killer's neighbors.> "We never thought he/she could do such a thing, they were always so nice and together, etc" When extreme stressful events arrive, I think it is healthy to have emotional "breaks". Trying to control emotions and feelings all the time is not normal. I think leaning too far one way or the other isn't healthy. For example, not letting your emotions be fully expressed and attempting total control-Or, Letting absolutely everything create chaotic emotions. I think the we should all have a healthy balance.
Wow predictable does not mean serial killer waiting to get out. We are saying the people who follow the flow of emotion are the ones who cause stress...I hate to tell you serial killers are doing exactly that, but have an IQ high enough to place a facade in front of their lives, but are totally controlled by their irrational emotional thoughts, which they are acting on thus making them serial killers. Emotional "breaks" are not healthy and need professional attention. Emotional reactions based on stressful events in life like crying, call friends, talking to someone are different and maybe what you mean? Balance is indeed good and stand by my earlier post that I stay away from the ones on the emotional rollercoaster and are offering free rides....stop the drama...life has enough just as it is without embellishing it.
I attempted using only canine expressions of emotions, damn if I did'nt throw my back out from wagging my tail....now i know why they are four legged....
