chris27292729: I thought about it 10 years ago,,only for myself, thats why i settled in the island, (apart for short trips to Athens),and made it my home. There are houses for sale, everybody can settle if they so wish.Besides we have become very multi ethinc, during the winter, during the summer is a different story, with the thousands of tourists.- Commune,we are already, only 2000 inhabitants living in the island, and all of us we know each other.-Of what i know off, settlers are welcome.

hey, that sounds like a chance, here we are connected with thousands of ppl. who are looking maybe for a perspective.I have been in naxos and crete,i liked it much. And why not, with the right idea make some money with some tourists? So many ideas, but i dont know your little island. You thought about it before 10 years, and what about now? You dropped tis idea?

Not the idea of a commune, though you can bye a house within a commune, which they cost a fortune.Myself i don't like to live in a commune,my Hipie times are over, and am very comfortable in my own house. But yourself you can come over, and start a commune on your owm.

I do have my own space, though not inside a condo, with another 10 to 15 houses more or less looking the same, surrounded by a high barbed wired walls. What is your idea of a commune????

the ideal for me is the "hermit in a comunity".This is only possible with ppl. who know what they want....who have already a lot of live-experience.PPL. who are free and independant.
This is a real big topic, not easy to explain in a few words.

chris27292729: In other words you advocating teaching religion in general, and not a spesific one. Then the pupils at schools, should of have 2 teachers, with opposing views. The one teacher will say, religion exists follow the one you think is right for you, and the other teacher, will say, you follow none, religion doesn't exist.-

wave hi chris
why 2?
teaching about religion, is not the same as practicing religion.
teaching involves providing information, facilitating dialogue, and promoting critical thinking skills so students begin to have their own understandings and insights.
it is quite possible to teach/inform on a subject without 'being in the club'... it doesn't require two teachers.
using your example, multiple teachers would be required to teach a single history course, just to name one ...?

and not personal to you, Chris..
but it appears to me that a lot of folks are basing their opinions and discussion of the topic and off topic issues without knowing what is actually part of current curriculum.
ie. in canada, many of the things folks are saying 'should' be taught, already are.
at some point though, folks need to realize they can't expect schools to provide all the education one requires. simply not enough time in the school day to cover all the subjects/topics that folks want to assign to it.

nokundi: your statement sounds like more education leads to more superficiality.
What keeps the religion going and the idea of god is the uneducated and religion know this, that is the reason why religion grows in third world countries where education is poor.

Smart people asking smart questions to the answers they already know. See how these type of questions and answers don’t really work. Here is something to think about!!! Many questions have been answered 2000 years ago through mathematics that have now been physically proven with technological advances. BUT there is no sum for God!!!!

You know, I`ve read some equations that disprove the theory of evolution and some statements from the bible,I`ve read some laws of physics that question the size and the position of the moon but Im curious about the math and technological advancement that can prove or disprove the existence of God

You probably have heard this before. There is no mathematical equation for god or evidence. So the proof is in the nonexistenceor or absence of evidence for no god.
