I can't really remember. I know I joined only months after the site started, perhaps seven years ago, but I've had long periods of not being here, the longest being over 2 years when I was working in another country, so I've lost track of the time!
Most independent reviews of the site praise the fact that it is free and one can communicate with people from all over the world, but that it's hopeless for actually connecting romantically. There are too many other activities going on which take the focus away from dating. The forums and blogs being prime examples !

7 or 8 years, wow quit a long time, maybe it is a site NOT to connect singles in reality but connect singles only in virtuality? sounds like it.

The sky is purple, my instincts tell me no..But if
they say the sky is blue and its actually cloudy instinct
does not come into play...I believe in probable possibilities...
Guess we have to be somewhat risk takers and see what
happens? Going by looks alone, oh no..Is it a real pic? I shy away from the good looking pics lol Maybe I should just pen pal.......
Only been here for 3 weeks......confused lots and lots of responses
but really unsure of this...like walking into a singles event with a blindfold! (Actually did that on a dare lol)The imagined person
from voice to reality was a shock..

It takes time to get to know someone and in my experience, everyone is different in RL than on here.
