lovemedofr: I feel a bit of a nostalgic for the time is passing by so very fast.. I like to collect old items and save some memories for the next generations .. I would be pleased to know what you are eventually missing from your childhood, your youth, your family, friends, school, college, start at work, cars, special places that have changed much, animals you loved, music, sports, items, even the sweets you used to eat and that don't exist in their original form any more, recipes, restaurants etc...
Please feel free to share some anecdotes, photos, links, music about what you miss from these good old times.
Nice question lovemedofr!!!
A journey back to the memory lane eh? Where to begin from? Well, lets see.... from my childhood I miss my innocence; from my youth the impossible dreams we used to make and the endless hours spent with friends trying to figure out the mysteries of life; from my family the old carefree days; from school/college I miss nothing - life is the biggest school and I'm still living it I miss the times when: * being politically correct was not such an issue; * we could go to the neighbor for coffee leaving the house wide open without fearing someone may steal everything while we were gone; * hitchhiking was an everyday thing; * we spent hours constructing "cars" testing them on a downhill only to discover we had no brakes on; * most of our games were made by us or by our parents out of wood, but what they luck in presentation we added in imagination and energy; * we drunk water straight from the tub - bottled water was something you would see only in restaurants; * we all new each other in the neighborhood and if anyone needed something all he/she did was ask to find willing assistance and support; * being a good person was more important than being a wealthy person...
This was the very first cartoon movie our parents bought for us to see at home, with a few others, what a blast it's been lol and then how many nightmares we got about the wolf eating us !

Have you seen the new ones, long tubes, apparently they can get out the fine within minutes. Things seem to have calmed for the moment here and stirred up the rest of france.just hope the ferries don't join in yet.

You are right, i have talked with a few friends from different regions about that, we should have special moments early new year, guess what i mean, the trucks, the ferries, the gasoil stations etc... be careful and well prepared then.
I'm lucky I'm looked after here and warned if they think I need to know. Did you hear about the pig farmers and their strike, they took all the meat out of the supermarket, set up bbqs in the car park and fed the customers.
After dating 5 months, we had our first night together. I wish I had a time machine and I would have frozen the very moment; if I knew I will get hurt after 2 years
