It took Fergie a few years to "get it right," so I wouldn't be too harsh on Moyes just yet.
Anyway, I don't think this is just down to Moyes, he inherited a team that is ageing, some of the players are not exactly spring chickens.
Giggs: 40, Ferdinand: 35, Evra: 32, Vidic: 32.
I think he needs to do a clear out, and get in some new faces, freshen things up, and let people know he is now the boss, not Fergie.

He did bring in new faces behind the scenes. I think thats a big part of the problem. The team Moyles took over should have been good enough to be at least top 4...
