Tnpseudonym: I took a soak in the tub and am enjoying my free time
I'm sorry. I've been in your shoes quite a few times. At first, I was crushed. Then with time, I understood that it was a blessing that they showed their genuine selves already and saved me grief on down the line.

I'm not crushed, don't even feel all that surprised by this guy. And I have been watching your thread :) I lurk a lot lately.
After all, I don't have school work to keep me occupied right now, lol.

He must be mad, if I was younger wild horses wouldn't keep me away
Tnpseudonym: Yup, getting stood up as I am posting after spending the weekend getting a jump on my school work and having a babysitter on stand-by.
Yes I would say most of us have have been Letdown before... And Yes when we have feelings, it Burns another Scar...But I would say KB said it best, Glad it saved you the Grief....You fell off, Get back on the Horse!
HotrodLarrys: Smile, with Patients, That is one of the biggest words I have learned, and still learning.
Sorry, too many people have no rank.
I'm all good, just was geared to get out of the house and have a decent night. I have patients, but it would be nice to have a guy be considerate of me as much as I am of him. If that fails then at least being able to rely on them doing what they say would be a bonus. If I ran across both attributes I'd feel like I won a jackpot.

As Jim Valvano once said: "Don't give up, don't ever give up"
Words of advice I've recently embraced, but for different reasons
Oh I'm not giving up, not nearly. I've not even been 'date ready' with single motherhood, full time job and school, and other family duty. I just thought it was rather 'cheap' of a guy to do something like that. And for those that have known me for a while know how rare it is for me to go on a date or even entertain the thought, so it was kind of a low blow for me to say yes then be stood up.
