Thats the question, why the boss will need to sleep with that gal or sleep with that boy yet they have a qualified documents to the position they need?

Nope, I'd rather progress in my career on my own merits, i.e. skill/competence/abilities. Then I know I deserve it. Not much is achieved without hard work. Perhaps for some but only out of lack of competence, personality, efficiency will someone have to adopt a more covert strategy.
I have known some who have believed they will get on via this method but one will eventually outlive their usefulness.....
As the saying goes, don't upset someone with nothing to lose and never have an affair with someone who has a lot to lose.

Yea, it's still a matter of stakes and options.
I might starve first, but would I let a loved one starve who couldn't provide for themselves? I'd beg or steal first if I could, but what if I couldn't? I can't say there's nothing in the world I value more than my dignity.
