CasualCarol: The news is carrying reports that Comcast is going to buy Time Warner.
If the FCC allows this, one company would control 1/3 of the cable in American homes! I can't wait to see the increase in my bill.
Currently they rank 6th and 7th in customer service out of seven, so I'll not be looking forward to any increases there.Any thoughts on this, or either company ...

Oh great just what we need is another increase on another bill. Not looking forward to this at all

I love how the mass media puts everyone in the panic mode so to speak.
I've got Time Warner for phone,tv and internet and my monthly bill is affordable.
Have no opinion about Comcast.
Had Dish and Direct tv once and swore never again and I didn't like them cause 99% of the time they didn't work and 10% of the time they did.
They all have their lil price wars and brag about how wonderful they are.I just went with Time Warner cause I got tired of being without satellite service when it would storm.
