2intrigued: I just found an old photo of my biological parents today and posted it in my profile. I have no idea when it was taken but Jac thinks maybe late 40's, early 50's due to the style of clothing and hairstyle of the era. Anyway, interesting stuff as I dig into my ancestry.

I've since removed the pic of my parents thinking that people aren't into dating my deceased folks. I could put the photo back up if you want to see them. Yep, I have a few amazing lightening photos....love thunderstorms and wicked lightening.

I missed your pics Deb but the lightening over Lake Ontario looks awesome. It reminds me when we moved to Oakville. The first 2days we spent in a motel on Lakeshore. The first night was a thunder and lightening storm. Never heard thunder so loud and the rain was the size of loonies coming down.

Storms over the lake are awesome indeed. I'm certain that you enjoyed the show from the motel room. Yeah, I posted the pic temporarily so Moose could see but took it down after a couple of hours. Don't want people wondering why I put my parents photo up.
Reading the kind words and thoughts expressed by YOU (for there were many YOU's) towards Moose and myself today touched me. It reminds me of why I keep coming back here to participate and interact with others and also reminds me that the few gems are worth more than they'll ever realize!! Moose may not be too happy for me to share this with you, but today is the annivesary of wherein he lost a dear friend. Friends are few to find so thank you for your kindness today. xo

looks very '40's' to me. i have photos of my parents (the ones i grew up with) from just after the war...and the style of clothing, as well as type of photograph...looks very similar to yours. but i'm still guessing....
