suds00crown point, Indiana USA13 Threads 160 Poststhe ebola virus is being found in western africa where it's not been before.it's not under control.will it spread to other countries or can it be stopped.i suspect it will be contolled but one never knows.

I think this will get much worse. I just hope they screen anybody who gets on a plane for other countries.

I was reading some reports on the World Health Organization WHO and the scientists and doctors trying to study it and find the cause, source and cure.
The name Ebola, after the river ebola where some of the first of the disease was found, has a very rapid onset, 1 to 21 days and very contagious, seen in gorillas and apes. There is some reporting that they think the main carrier or source are the fruit bats in the caves there.
Those doctors and scientists are so brave to rush in to help the sick and dying.
I read that there are possibly six strains?
