I want to cook something great this Christmas, and I'm not a good cook at all (I started a fire cooking macc and cheeze and baked beans)..so, I need your help... give me some good recipes for something that I can cook that will take under 2 hours to prepare...this will be my first attempt at impressing some friends that come over... thanks
Get a traditional Christmas dinner from your local grocer and transfer it to your own dishes. They'll love it and think you spent the entire day cooking.
Va Beach, Norfolk, hampton & Newport News, Got some great restaurants, and a lot of catering services, order some and served it to your friends and family, No need for excuses, you're single man, just enjoy and drink with them as you have more time for it.
I use a really great web site for lots of recipes...you can find just about anything on this site to cook! I'm not gonna post the site, as it "against the rules"--but if anyone's interested, email me & I'll give ya the addy
Appetizers are the in thing and chic for get togethers. What could be easier? A sandwich tray, fresh fruit tray, vegetable tray, little smokies or meatball with barbeque sauce in a slow cooker, chips, dips, nuts, cake, pie, and drinks. You have it set out on the table, with holiday decorations, and everyone enjoys buffet style eating, because they get to pick and chose what they want. You get to entertain the whole time, and not break a sweat. I seen this hint in a current magazine and it make perfect sense.
