Music & drugs, probably the most dangerous mix of all life's pleasures.

I been a musician since I was 14, got a guitar for Christmas and never looked back. I started smoking weed at about the same time. Again, I never looked back lol. I sampled, and pitter pattered in other various "substances" as well (to tell the truth of it).

When I am not indulging in illegal things, I can play music at a certain level, (7 out of 10 lets say). Its good, has feeling, and passable. When I do indulge however, its like turning on a switch. All of a sudden, your creative and appreciative values seem to be turbocharged.

I can feel music in a deeper and more personal way. When I play it, Its like I am putting sound to the feeling I am feeling and it results into better music.

Have a look at a lot of famous bands and musicians throughout history. Including alcohol (yes alcohol is a drug), you will find that behind many of the top bands, you will find that drugs is present in the equation somewhere with at least 1 or more band members. Have you ever listened to Pink Floyd on acid? Depending on who you are, I would either totally recommend it or totally NOT recommend.

Here's to music & drugs, the cause and solution to all my problems.
