I've already tried my best to take care of myself.
When I get to the point where I can no longer look after myself I don't wish to be alive.

I wouldn't either but if it was their wish to go I would honor their wish.My mother was on life support the day she died and told the doctor that she didn't want to be kept on it so they let her go.My mother didn't want to be a burden on me.
My son knows what my wishes are when that day comes to just let me go.

I've always been positive and I joke around all the time about how as long as I don't find myself in the obits I'm fine.

Thank you All. If I were with someone and they have a special request and I see them suffering, I wouldn't hesitate to do as wished. It will hurt me, I am sure, but I have to consider their hurt first.
