Draegoneer: I like Carson. He would be a great Surgeon General. He's already back tracked on some things I didn't approve of quite a while back now. Gun control being one of the main things.
I like Trump. A non-politician. He needs to come up with some concrete plans and ideas though. I watched an interview of him being conducted by Oprah Winfrey from back in 1988. He has not changed his view on hating what's happening to America from then to now. That's a plus.
Perry or Walker? Cruz? Cruz over any of those. I have major issues with any politician. It seems they're always for sale and making deals instead of helpingor conducting things that would actually be useful and helpful to the nation.
Jeb and Rubio are out as far as I'm concerned. Jeb's on the obama train and I still can't get over Rubio's actions when he was part of obama's "gang of 8".
You pointed so many valid arguments but I do want to address the specific issues on Trump. He does make a good politician if greed and power are not his major motivation. Money wise, I think he is over rated but as far as power is concerned, he wouldn't strike me as less hungry as the rest of the arrogant few.
Now with those on the bottom, I couldn't care less on any of them.
Quite frankly, I think Carson would beam up our hope as he seems most ethical and most of all believe in the good of everyone.
DertyHarry44: Is this the same man that said, men turned gay in prison?
sorry, he could have all the college degrees he had earned, but those titles doesn't make it a smart man, just that he passed through college that's all.
Derty I believe you are referring to a different person. Carson had been gifted as a person and as a believer.
Ultimately we judge our leaders based on their contribution that reaps benefits for the majority. The true backbone of a democratic principle. In the last strings of leaders that we have they have been more operating on the assumption of our majority rule yet the very core and fundamentals of their motivation is of socialistic root. We know all too well that it is the benefit of the majority that is endangered.
Obstinance_Works: That's true. What we need again is Tony Blair's rule by opinion poll. Instead of having a leader who leads with ideas and judgement, have a leader who asks people what they want and then simply gives it to them, who the hell even cares which future generation has to pay for it all.
Obs I could swear sometimes, you're too radical and yet too ingratiating on the core and roots of the labor of those that brought us to where we are.
Welfareism is one that was born out of the left elites that show the control by making everyone lazy and dependent, in which case they can blindly dribble on their rights by holding them in contempt of their ignorance.
Enlightened as I believe you are, direction on a very effective leadership is not to dole out all the services for free, instead it is both a collaboration of those that are productive and the ones who knows how to run the system where everyone is benefited.
Well maybe apply John F. Kennedy's original principle,,,"ask not what your government can do for you, instead contribute what you can to your government." To me, it means that everyone has a decent job and that everyone is productive.
So bring all the outsourced jobs specially our Silicon Valley techs that were all shipped to Asia and some other parts of the world.
Actually it is in the very nature of these young minds questionable flair that shapes up our system Tom, without them we would just be a sheep herded by the opportunist, greedy and arrogant.
Ken_19: Well BC was not the front runner last night. Not even the 2nd place person either. He needs to come up with snappier answers like Trump did.
It is very evident he's not a politician material. Not with the rah rah of a loud and strong tug to weave their way up. Yet for the same reason, it just might be what this country need. A low key, humble and sincere guy.
