Capricorn143: Right from the beginning of this thread I said Germany would close the borders and then it will be the rest of us paying for their "generosity". I also said when Hungary closes the border with Serbia, the migrants will just go through Croatia and Slovenia. Now, these two countries are small, we do not have the power of a much bigger Hungary, we will not be able to deal with thousands of migrants pushing towards Austria and Germany if the borders are closed. There is no way we could. Plus we do not have the defence capabilities to defend ourselves as Germany can - so, who cares????

I am glad you ahd a nice weekend. You have often been changing your profile pictures - all are great

I am in anticipation as to what is the next move and see where it ends. (If it will ever end).wave

Babbler: After Germany some other countries closed their borders. Will it help? I doubt it.
It only shows us that the EU isn't but an gutless creation . The countries are more divided as ever and blow up even their own agreements (= Shengen agreement temporary put on hold).
Which political powers willbe favorited with this developments??
I am curious about it how it will end.

Now this sounds more like a contempt on the European creation then. Although of course there are more that may express their approval of this union.

Capricorn143: I know, I know. HOWEVER, there should be at least some consequences for these politicians - they have driven us to an abyss.

Exactly. Believe me one has to stand up against them. Until then they think they're doing good job for everyone.

As I have stated in my previous discussions, the world belongs to all breathing and living human beings and animals. Nobody owns the world, show me who the person is and I will eat my non existent twelve legged children. This land is your land ,this land is our land. The world was created for all to live in and nobody has the right to put claim to it. I am not interested in who found the seven wonders of the world,as it was not found it was always there. MAN comes along names a country after his culture or native tongue and BOBS YOUR UNCLE the country now belongs to you. I beg to differ. There are many countries with huge amounts of untouched land sitting dormant. For the love of all things inhumane and impoverished we should not sit and haggle as to who can live on this unused land and make a home and live a life of freedom and peace.Help these poor people to start off with tools, implements and building material to erect homes and start all over again, and should you think otherwise may God or whoever is out there have mercy on you, should you ever be in the same situation. AND remember never say never. I know I will be shot down, but at least I can lay my head down knowing I did a good deed today. angel
