Babettefr: Military force could be the last alternative, but how far they can go,
shooting ? ,,the worst scanario can happen the time military interfere,,
That's the time we'll have to see if these so called terrorists are among them. I wish those countries that are really on the frontline could manage to keep the peaceful way they can, or not it will be the ignition !!!
Terrorists will go to their heaven's the moment they die ,,they don't cry for their loss of lives, they venerate them.

Last week when Parliament agreed to make our border stronger it was clearly stated not to use guns!!!

We definitely don't want to kill and not to be killed!

lindsyjones: To live a life in fear is not right. Yet, these happenings drive an ordinary person that has always lived in peace to be scared. I don't understand why they come as though they want to impose their ways of life and culture to the host countries? How is it possible that a group of foreigners would be allowed to march and create such a chaos amongst the local? It is madness indeed and the only cure is to create balance where peach prevail on both sides.

This is amazing Obs. I also watched the news on this post about how Denmark had to redesign or change their current welfare system just to discourage these refugees. Now this creates negative impact on the citizens who deserve to get their original full benefit doesn't it?

This is crazy. But because they pass as refugees, so they are entitled to all these benefits? Incredibly disturbing.

I wish you all the courage, in some countries , these people are already dictating their conducts ,, really scary to imagine further, we, the people in Europe are exposed to a catastrophe never seen before if no effective measures could be taken to stop these flow,,,

Yes Bab, I agree with you. Someone has to create a plan that will deal effectively on how to stop these madness. Have you any ideas?

Ken_19: That is funny. They will just walk around or over the road blocks. Maybe throw some boards on the barbed wire or force a border guard to lay on it so they have something not sharp to walk over.

Thousand and thousand acres of agricultural fields (corn, potato, vegetable) are completely distroyed due to the crossings on both sides of the Hungarian-Serbian border (175 kms) therefore thousands of people's har work has gone...

Since July more and more tourist has cancelled their trips, vacations to Hungary so, many of the hotels/motels, sightseeing programs are at loss...

Once refugee status is granted they are able to claim anything a citizen can.

Now that is the biggest reason they come in droves. Of course if you come from a country with no welfare, that's like going to heaven.

Oww, Lindsy, if i have any idea, then i'm sure our leaders could have it.
But i'm afraid this measures could be something of a drastic one, observing on how the things are developing with everyday that passed.
i just hope this OP of yours would end in a manner that could ease the feeling if insecurity that we're having at the moment.
My place will be receiving soon it's share of these refugees, because the gov't are distributing them to the municipalities, and from where i am there's not a lot of potential employment, so how could they survive with the time,, i gues, you already know the answer.

in canada..

refugees get more than canadian senior citizens or folks on permanent disability who were born here and have lived and worked here all their lives. they get more than the 'homegrowns' needing social assistance.
for the first six months...they receive additional benefits beyond medical and housing that includes clothing, furniture, free access to recreation facilities, free education, free support services...
on and on...

and while it would be great to 'help all the people all the time'...it just isn't feasible in today's economy where the middle class has disappeared into one side or the other of the 'haves and have nots'. you can cut only so many slices from the same pie.

Bab you'd be surprised how an ordinary minds like us can coin up the most effective solution sometimes. Those politicians are buried with so many complex challenges that is going through their minds and they are short sighted as to what is available for them.

Having said that, Capri, mentioned that camps should be built from the NA regions and the rich oil arab countries can finance it.

rebel2: Hello Jono
No offence taken. Your not the sort of person to offend others
My point was purely that I have spent all my career in amongst the less desirables and for everyone I have "dealt with" two more take there place.
It would be lovely if everyone in the world just went about there business, and in fact I suspect most people on this earth want just that.
However whilst there is greed, the need for power, the need to control, it is in my opinion, sadly it is not going to happen.
Of all the animal species we humans are an embarrassment.

thumbs up

i spent 20 years working within the education system with refugee children...
and i can tell you, it's a lot more than just providing the initial funds to transport someone here, and providing shelter.
for the most part, these families have been traumatized...and it will be years, possibly generations for some, before they are healthy and able to become contributing members. not only is it a financial commitment..but a community commitment as well. as well...cultural values become part of the mix and even things like 'greed', 'honesty', 'integrity' have different meanings for different cultures. immigration with assimilation is becoming a thing of the past. change a member of the group, and the group changes.

i don't have the magic answers.
i do know a shift to global thinking is a prerequisite.

Lindsy, if these rich arab nations have that intention, they could have already manifested, and who is in the best position to influence or exert pressures on them?,, these countries almost live in a dome, autonome, they're so advance in technology this time, they even create their rains now and started to produce their needed crops. If they are compassionate enough, they have already what is necessary to accomodate a large number but until now they are just cool onlookers.

I am so sad to hear about this Jono. It doesn't look right, does it? I mean who on earth would give more benefits to people that has not even worked there and not make it available for those that lived all their lives? This would definitely spark ill feelings to the government as well as the newcomers.

Now leaders or the government heads how can they justify this kind of policy? In the States, they used to provide all health benefits and free education, now it is all cut off. But I am talking about the illegal migrants. I think it is a very different situation.

Well Bab, what is a little offish is the fact that they offered to build Mosque for them to worship in Europe but they will never accept any of these refugees. The answer posted from the previous pages, that of course, there is no need for them to go there, they are already muslims. That is coming from the idea that if the intention of the majority of these migrants is to caliphate the world. It is confirmed by almost everyone including the report of WSJ that these people are not refugees at all. They are posing as Syrians just to get accepted.

One of the downside of overextending help is this. It will create a shift on the social status. It levels down and to the dismay of those that are negatively affected. A country can only sustain what it can afford. If these people wont become a productive contributor to the society then of course, the supply has to come from some place. Then policies are created to accommodate the needs of these new members of the society.

At whose expense? Of course the native. Hence the elimination of the middle class. It is not a happy picture if you ask me.
