I wonder if the Mexican authorities will put him back in the same cell he occupied last time? I mean after all, it already has a very nice tunnel already constructed. The tunnel even has a little motorcycle for "Shorty" to ride so he doesn't have to walk the mile long tunnel.
Hard to say really, if law enforcement set-up the interview with Penn, or if law enforcement actually infiltrated the planned interview. This video posted three hours ago.

Sounds like Sean Penn might be in some trouble. At least that is what this afternoon's reports are hinting at. I wonder if he can be charged with aiding and abetting? Obstruction of justice? Stupidity?

Don't be too sure that Sean Penn wasn't working for the Mexican and American authorities in an elaborate sting operation to draw Guzman out where they could get a hook into him. I'm sure, if I'm right, there'll be a staged series of events involving Penn and the law with which to appease the masses and shield Penn from retribution by the drug cartels. In the end he will be acquitted of all charges and after he passes on the truth will come out that he was in fact a hero.
I was joking, sort of, about putting El Chapo in the same cell he broke out of. At least they put him in the same prison. I wonder if he has updated blueprints so he can find his way from his new cell to the tunnel? I wouldn't be surprised if by now they have a refrigerator full of beer and some sandwiches down there.

After reading an excerpt of Penn's article where he glows about Guzman being surrounded by his adoring sons and his (Penn's) having difficulty reconciling the scene with the knowledge of his atrocities, I'm not so sure. He sounded like a crazed fan.
Who knows though? I did hear is could be a full year before he is even extradited. He may just have to escape before he even gets here.
