The world is in shock, many are dismayed, and at awe, as I am over the win of Donald Trump to be President of these United States of America! ... I am a registered republican for over 40 years, however, I didn't vote for Trump, just as I didn't vote for President Obama, but I do respect the office of which they hold. Nevertheless and regardless, of what I or anyone thinks of Trump, his lack of quality leadership skills, and/or his unacceptable behavior as a person and presidential candidate during his campaign, he was nevertheless voted into office by those who looked beyond his faults and decided to vote for him as being what they considered/preceived the better of his opponent.
In spite of the negative tenor and spirit of his campaign, Trump fought a good fight, kept his faith, and finished the course as the President elect, this I, as well as everyone must respect and honor in light of his political views, behavior, and/or policies. Trump has been voted in as the President of America. MY CONGRATULATIONS GO OUT TO PRESIDENT TRUMP, AND TO HIS WIFE, MALENIA AS OUR FIRST LADY!
I would be remiss if I did not also send CONGRATULATIONS out to Secretary Hillary Clinton for her run for President. Although I didn't vote for her either, she will still go down in the history books as the first women to advance this far in her bid to be the President of our already great country. History already records other women who ran for this office but lost their bid. It doesn't matter what I or anyone thinks of her political policies or views, and/or her unacceptable behavior she too, must be respected and honored, praised, admired for her determination, strength, and her accomplishments over the past 32 years... even so, before she held public office during her high school years, after and during law school, admired for her fighting spirit for the causes of the poor, women and children... her accomplishment records speaks for themselves. Hilary has indeed a work well done in her 2016 Presidential Presidential campaign as the first woman to reach this great height of success seeking the office of President. YES, whether you like it or not, She too, fought a good fight, kept her faith, and finished her course.
MY CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH PRESIDENT TRUMP AND SECTARY CLINTON ! WELL DONE!

I wish I could congratulate the good working American People (the ones that generate wealth) but that is not possible not with Trump and neither with Hillary.

yes, it's hard, but you must learn to suck-it-up... and know that unless you can make a change in the wealth to your favor, there's nothing to be done.
I've learnt in my experiences over the years working with people from every ethnic-social-economical background how to put into practice this very healthy principle: "I accept the things I cannot change, I change the things I can change, and I've learned how to know the difference between the things I CAN CHANGE and the things I CANNOT CHANGE!... and I work on, and toward those things I CAN CHANGE... of course, its a long process, but it always works out without life changing stress in my personal and professional life.
Sometimes FAVOR doesn't seem fair, but it's from GOD thus its fair and just!

"in the wealth to your favor"
To my favor? No, I do not look for it. My position has always been in favor of the people, the working people.
Regarding to Divine intervention in the election of Trump, it might be very well possible,.

That's President Elect Donald Trump , that little word elect means so much . I don't think I have agreed with any thing you have ever said and am further surprised you were against Obama last election . No matter now anyway , I have enjoyed your threads . Oh and you just remember I would be dangerous if I knew what I was talking about

Bearing in mind that our very first unanimously elected (by way of 69 members of the Electoral College) president, George Washington, was actually our first presidential experiment. He reluctantly went in having fear, lacking of skills, and not knowing anything at all about being a leader of a country. Those who served under him went in not knowing anything about it at all, as well. He made it through just fine. And here we are today.
Now, 45 presidents later, we have another leader not knowing much about how to run a country. But this time, this one happens to have those serving under him who does have the necessary experience. He has the house (R), senate (R) and congress (R) to fully support, advise and back him.
No, Trump is not an experiment. Trump is the result of Americans waking up and standing up against what has been an ongoing corrupt government.
Enjoy watching as the Swamp begins to drain after he takes office.

George Washington? such a legacy of strength, integrity and national service?
What would Trump and G. Washington had in common? Not need to rush any answer, time will tell.
Had you said George Bush OH well, that could have been more "likely".

There is much about me that would surprise you Plus, I wasn't against President Obama, I just didn't like some of his policies, and didn't vote for him although as a republican I could have... in fact I didn't vote at all for either of the candidates in the Obama/Romney election...just as I didn't vote for Trump or Clinton in this election. I wrote your name as a write-in
What made you think I voted for President Obama, so you were/are stereotyping just because he is African American? I have not hidden the fact that I am a registered republican since coming on this CS site two/three years ago... means you also haven't been reading my posts on these threads or my blogs very clearly
Thanks for the compliment, I've enjoyed discussing/fighting with you as well .. and I do stand by my comment... you would be dangerous if YOU ONLY KNEW OR HAD A CLUE ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE SPEAKING.... THAT'S A FACT.
So what time did you say you'll be home for dinner tonight? I'll make sure to leave the lights on as usual....

Sorry, BUT, I must disagree.... Trump IS an experiment, because if he doesn't govern the country as he should, and set things in order, instead of being determine to vindicate himself of everyone who opposed him during his campaign as he has stated he plans to do during his first 100 days in the White House... sorry, but he will not last to settle his clothes in the closet in the White House the first 100 days. Trump will be IMPEACHED his first 100 days. The choice will be up to him and his behavior, he flighty in his behavior and undisciplined mindset, and if its going to be as he was on the campaign trail and as HE HAS PROMISED. The Trump experiment and EXPERIENCE IS OVER! The choice will his alone to make

Sista, whether you know it,or not you recited the "Serenity PRAYER"
It reads.....GOD, grant me the serenity to ACCEPT the things i can not CHANGE,
COURAGE to CHANGE the things I can,
And the WISDOM to know the DIFFERENCE! Living one day at a time!
Enjoying one moment at a time! Accepting hardship as the PATHWAY to PEACE! Taking, as HE did, this sinful world as it is, and not as I would have it. TRUSTING HE WILL MAKE ALL THINGS RIGHT, IF I SURRENDER TO HIS WILL. Making me REASONABLY HAPPY IN THIS LIFE....AND SUPREMELY HAPPY WITH HIM FOREVER, IN THE NEXT! AMEN!
lifeisadream: I did see that but i restrained myself
Beside SistaCallie, who has ever voted for you as the president of the most powerful country of the world???
Love is in the air!
I think I will have it scratched on my gravestone , has a certain ring to it don't you think , I don't recall ever having been voted for the US presidency before but have had a larf voting in the US polls on their news sites , surprising , all you need is a US zip code and "click" Hilly gets another click .
