StarOfWars: You need to understand the words 'butthurt' and 'stupid'.
Overturn the result of a presidential election with a 'petition'?
What's your IQ?
Evidently you haven't understood the meaning of the words 'butthurt' and 'stupid'. nor have you an IQ PERIOD!... Really doesn't take a rats brain when it come to knowing you don't know what you're speaking regarding America's political system, BECAUSE THE PETITIONS ARE ALREADY IN PLAY.... as I said, I don't about your country, and its obvious YOU surely don't know about my country if you don't know that a petition for a recount can happen... doesn't matter if the result remain the same but a US citizen can request and recount with a petition of signatures.
Maybe you have need to study mre about what you THINK you know but you really don't know... google for information before you so boldly speak about something you know nothing about stop allowing ignorance to speak on your behalf...
secretagent09: You and I never agree on anything but this time I do agree with you that it is clutching at straws to think that the Faithless Elector could get Hillary into the white house.
No matter how small the chance there is to accomplish it, even a small chance is still a chance.
This morning the average American didn't know that the Faithless Elector vote is in the Constitution.
Once it was made public people are getting on the bandwagon to make sure their state elector knows what they want.
My personal opinion is that I doubt it will happen.
Just imagine the threads on CS if it does
If the EC numbers were 271/269 , yeah there would be a chance . Clinton has conceded so that's that . Maybe the media are only to happy to see trouble , I think they better get behind the result real quick or the trouble will be on them .
There is no such THING as "the popular vote." Why can't we get this fundamental truth through our heads? Since we don't CONDUCT a national popular vote, the tally of votes counted in a presidential election under the Electoral College system (not all votes are counted, y'know) is NOT a national popular vote.
Since presidential candidates don't campaign to win a national popular vote, the votes ultimately cast in a presidential election are NOT a national popular vote.
We need to reject the Left's premises every time, everywhere.
Got to love democracy. Everyone has a right to vote. Just don't vote for the wrong person, cause if you do, we'll stomp our feet/jump up and down and try anything possible to change the outcome.
