mollybaby: Ooooh You sure do have a way with words (((swoon)))
There's very little better than a lilting Celtic accent - except maybe red hair and a lilting Celtic accent. Although a castle does sound good. It beats my Spanish apartment or this rented place.
So sad were not born in a world with teleporters Can Twister be played via Skype?

You crossed out Doctor Who? And we were getting on so well....
Deepest South. I (theoretically) live in La Línea de la Concepcion, but working here. Unfortunately, you gotta go where the pennies are and I'm getting a goodly number here.
That said, it's surprisingly nice here. I've lived here 3 years out of the last 6.

I've never been to that town (for obvious reasons )
I do like the coastline around there though. Conil is lovely.
I usually go further East to the Costa Tropical though
I've only lived /worked on the mainland. La Línea is because I worked in Gibraltar for a gazillion years. Got a nice(ish) lil apartment there that I finally paid off 3 years ago.
But I'd be happy to buy something here also, by the lake maybe... you can buy the land and build a decent 3 bed place here for under 100k. Not bad for a lakeside property.

Some of those towns should be called Costa Fortune.
I lived in Calahonda for a while, very nice but it was Little Britain.
Apart from the lack of Med, it's pretty cool here. Four distinct seasons, which is about the only thing I missed of UK (that, and the New Forest). Ok, pork pies, Double Decker choccy bars and proper bacon.

Marmite
Weetabix
But nothing else!
Caramac.
I wouldn't miss any of those things
Just my favourite tea, Barrys.
If you're a good boy, I'll bring you a Double Decker next time I go over

If I'm in Spain, I just jog over to Gib and fill up in Morrison's
I have some marmite here, but only really miss pork pies. There is tasty food in Georgia. Google, khinkali, khajapuri and phkali as examples.
When I was I Armenia, I had a 'mule' who visited the company every 2 weeks. He'd bring a ton of stuff. Rice pudding, Ambrosia custard, Angel Delight... yiu know, all the essentials.
