Only a couple machines left. Regardless how much I like to admire them, they are tools and tools should be used. Especially since they're of such great quality, made well before build in obsolescence became the norm. It pains me how we accept it as normal

That is very true. I bought a tablet and 2 weeks after the warranty ended it broke. So I had to give it to my son to dismantle. A dud !!!

I moved to Arizona a couple of years ago and living next to the Colorado River I have come to "Rock Paradise". Mom used to be fascinated by rocks and so am I.
The rocks here have flecks of metal. Some regular and some precious like gold and silver. I love examining these rocks and if I find one fascinating I take it home!

KarloradoFL: Do you have a favorite composer? Mine is Brahms. I visited his apartment in Baden-Baden, Lichtental, (West) Germany when I was 18. He lived on the top floor. A few blocks down the street is the house of Robert and Clara Schumann which is not open to the public.
Here he composed symphonies 1 and 2 and his 2 piano concertos all on a poorly tuned upright piano.
