Well, that is one reason that you are not a 'terrorist'...so you can't think like one...simple.
If you did, you know that security of any type depends on idiot ten-a cop types with neither experience in actually dealing with a real terrorist or even having taken a course in combat pistol techniques and most likely doesn't even have his own weapon and has never even fired one. This is what most communities depend on; there are no excess/ surplus police officers with anti terrorist training available to be posted at all public events in all communities; from a public swim at the local 'Y' or a party open to all at some local dive in some rinky-dink town or city. Any local yokel with any sort of grudge against a merchant or no one in particular can simply sit on a roof of a downtown area and fling off home made or military type hand grenades landing in streets. Nothing elaborate; keeping it simple. Next 'rent-a-cop'/ security guard you see, usually overweight in a sloppy uniform and feeding his face, ask yourself, 'Can this creature protect anyone??" Welcome to reality...
