Well what made us today has something to do with our past and it takes time for us to make it possible to get back the way we used to be and get used to saying the magic word again.
Fair comment, but as we get older, we get more world aware (or world weary if one prefers), expectations and understandings of life and love will change us, maybe not for all but definatly for most...
