An optimistic soul here.... Seeing the bright side or silver lining in things kinda makes the bad things seem smaller and far easier to deal with as well....I'm not sure how to explain it really....but apart from death, I believe that most of what we experience here in the West is nothing compared to what some people are going through and that kinda puts things in perspective for me....We have our share of pain and sorrow but what keeps you going after all this time?

I'm tired of listening to people whining about trivial things to be honest.....and how "me me me" they've become..
Pain and sorrow aren't necessarily bad things to go through either.....if nothing else they can give a real true appreciation of just how bad life can get and a renewed appreciation of the good or even the mundane....
