I don't loan money out at all. I give it as a gift. If it is returned back to me than I am thankful....if it isnt, it wasn't expected to be.

I used to loan a few people at work money during the week. I dont know what exactly they did with their pay every week and why they thought I had more than they did, but they would ask, and I would give.
Then, each Friday, when checks came in and they would always have promised to pay me back, I would have to 1) patiently wait til they got around to paying me or 2) run them down and ask for it back.
The first time or two, I tried the waiting game, and never got repaid,
so I resorted to chasing them down on Fridays, THEN I stopped loaning any all together lol

If I loan it to someone, I dont expect to have it back.
If it comes back then its a bonus.

That way you are never disappointed in the person.

There are a couple of people in my life that I would gladly give everything I have to help them.

I have many skills that I can earn money with anywhere. I have no ties, no addictions (apart from coffee) and Im not attached to anything enough that I cannot sell it to provide for someone I care for.

I would say yes, but no one keeps count anymore. My roomates and I always offer to do things and pay for things for one another, who needs to keep count. It all started when I made a lot of money at a casino, my roomate got jealous, blew his whole paycheck to compete with me, was not successful. I gave him and his girlfriend a total of $1,000, paid for the gas (They were driving), bought them something to eat, so they can play a little more while I filled my pockets a bit, and so that they can go home with something. He never lived it down and that is why we don't keep count. True story, and I only had $175 when I walked in there. I guess it was beginner's luck but then again, there was that time in Vegas....

I sold a friend a car and made him do a contract to pay for it in installments. There were some months when he didn't pay. He did pay it off in the end, but I had to pressure him. I don't think I'd want to do something like that with him again.

So what did you play, Random Stranger? I like Blackjack. The best I've done is start with $30 and turn it into $1,000, but it took me about 12 hours to do it.
