Here where I live, we have what is called "Balloon Festival" every year around winter time. People come to see it from all over the world and some come to fly their own balloons, all shapes, all colors. It's AMAZING to see the sky filled the balloons, some are special shapes, for example, you might see your favorite disney character, etc. It lasts about a week or so, there's food and entertainment also. It is the most photographed event in the world.I went up in one when I was much younger and dumber, it is very scary but the scenery is beautiful to see from so far up in the air.

Being 9500 feet up in the air with no covering over you. Leaning over the basket.... basically hanging over the edge
We had parachutists jump out of our balloon.
And weddings in it an many more amazing times.
Totally something I'd recommend everyone to do.

The one time I went up, the basket was not as stable as I expected it to be. It was very wobbly and the pilot was halfway sitting one the basket. I was so terrified I thought I was gonna have a heart attack. I ended up sitting down instead off relaxing and enjoying the experience. I was so freaked out by the pilot thinking and panicking what if he fell of the basket!? I couldn't wait to land.Festivals an commercially flying. I friggin LOVE it.
