CIPI a great kind deed. 
This happened when I was may be about ten or eleven years old.
I was playing in the alleyway next to my house, I spotted a mini catapult (sling shot) on the ground
and picked it up and started playing with. There were some very small stones on the floor, I picked up one of them and put in the catapult and pulled the sling and thought what shall I aim at? About 10 to 15 feet away a sparrow was just happily feeding on some food on the ground, took aim , pulled the sling and shot at the this poor little sparrow. My shot was deadly accurate and it hit the sparrow. The sparrow just collapsed at the same spot where it was feeding. As I watched this , my jaw dropped, sudden sadness hit my heart and a tear or two left my eyes. For a second or two I just stood there in horror and saying to myself what have I done. I went near the sparrow and gently picked it up and put it my palm. I went over to the drains where there was some water. I took some water and put it on the sparrow. And it slowly started to move, so I put the sparrow back on the ground gave some more drops of water on its body and near the mouth. And then I moved away a few feet as saw that it was now trying to get up. After a few minutes the sparrow was on its feet and walked a bit while flapping its wings. And to my relief the sparrow recovered and flew away.
I went to that catapult and picked it up and broke it into many pieces and threw it away.
I was so upset and angry with myself and kept thinking about this poor little harmless bird.
I remember this happening so many times. And each time it pains me. For a few moment I become sad. But remembering how it survived my assault and flew away, does also bring a sense of relief and a smile.
People have kind intentions but few actually turn that to practical kind deeds. That’s why you are an angel. Helping birds, stray dogs, people.. …AMAZING !!!!
