Scientists are debating if it will impact the moon or barely miss. If an impact on the moon were to occur the comet is big enough to cause massive ejections of matter and probably also change the moons orbit. In about a 100 years the tides will be minimal and less continental plate shifting will create a new ice age.
The increased spin of earth will shorten the amount of hours per rotation. A consequence will be shorter days and shorter work days. It's estimated that the spin will increase by 1 hour per 15 years. Another benefit is that the escape velocity for space craft will be lowered making launch prices less.

can't find much on that. 710 comes up more often than not. over a million years out or maybe millions. doesn't mention about any potential damages or changes to earth much. a couple of other "Glieses" seem prominent too.
so sad. pretty catastrophic and a potential reality at any time the way things float and fly around out there. not sure how the warning systems might work for real should one get that close.
