And you imagine that they look really care for you and love you...
They don't even know that you exist, as long as the ratings are fine...

My idols are people who have mental health issues like myself who find a way of getting through the day everyday and who never give up no matter what their mind is telling them.

Not in that way, its your own internal monolog but because of the chemical imbalance in the brain, it makes you believe you are worthless among other things. I take medication to deal with it and it took years to find, I eventually end up on a combo of meds that work pretty good. Some people get more relief than others with meds as no two people react the same to them.------ This thread is Archived ------

I got a friend who is med resistant. Means that she don't respond to any meds at all. She has to deal with the full brunt of her condition with no help. She gets through though, she won't quit and I'm proud as hell of her for that.------ This thread is Archived ------

The medication is not a cure as such, it just helps manage the problem. If I were to stop the medication, the problems would come right back. I inherited my condition. The medication is a good tool but there was more to it. I basically had to train my mind to think different and learn to detach myself from my emotions which is very hard being autistic. It was like pulling teeth doing it but the result of it made my life much better. Having said that, I smoke lots of pot on top of it all, I find not only it makes me feel good, it gives me a much higher emotional iq than I have without it. Its not for everyone but it agrees with my body chemistry.------ This thread is Archived ------

Considering what I was given to deal with, I am doing really well. It didn't help that I spent 15 years taking hard drugs and partying 24/7. Give all that up, took charge of my health and kept pestering the doctors until I found good medications.------ This thread is Archived ------
