On one had , women want to be strong & independent, yet on the other , a little kiss on the lips & everyone is screaming abuse .
We don’t know all the facts , yet we have a case of trial by public .
I wonder how the public reaction would have sounded like if the boot was on the other foot .

freedomcomes: I agree with Bodeling, what gave him the right to give her a passionate kiss on the lips, that denotes intimacy, he held her head with his two hands and did that, overstepped the mark is right.
As a result of that infamous kiss , the Spanish team are refusing to play for Spain & the coach was fired . Talk about overreacting.

bodleing2: I don't think it's just about this one incident, he has a reputation. If you watch him congratulating the Spanish team, his hand are all over every one of them. In fact he can't keep his hands off himself as this clip clearly shows.

Let’s be honest. The tournament was substandard if truth be known . The infamous kiss will linger on longer in the memory than the tournament itself .

Substandard as it was overhyped. I don’t think I’ve spoken to any one person who will watch woman's domestic football as a result.
It was a showcase for woman's football to show how advanced it has become & attract more fans but it turned into a damp squid , as far as England was concerned.
