That is a very cynical point of view. I disagree fully in the statement. Leadership means representing the interests of your constituents. Democratic principles are not easy to accomplish; but they do require compromise and agreement on a common belief system. That common belief among Republicans has deteriorated to the allegiance and exaltation of one person - the former ex-president. When a political party ignores the entire electorate and follows the whims of one person - it is no longer a political party - it is a cult.These two groups and not in the least alike. Please do your homework; participate in the process; vote for candidates who represent a common set of values; and never allow elected officials to ignore the interests of the common people in America.

The GOP will look for another candidate who can represent the chaotic and unorganized party.
