I did like Fourth of July, where he played a cocky macho...well, played himself. But he and Travolta seem so shallow as actors that I can't help but think of them as actors when watching their movies. Is it the Scientology that induces fake-ness and empty bonhommie?

I was told a Scientology side-walk recruiter that Scientology was a psychological Ponzi scheme.professor He sputtered for a bit, not knowing what a Ponzi schedile is, and finally managed to spit out "Oh yeah?" and spun on his heel.

Me too. I can't stand him. Missed a lot of great movies because he was in them, but still won't watch anything he is in since that stupid teenage movie "Risky Business". And I don't know why it has taken the rest of world to realize what a freak he is, he has always been like that, total loser.

I am already disgusted with Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Britney Spears, Tom Cruise ...
As far as Scientology goes (one of the looniest religions I have ever heard of, but hey, as long as they keep it to themselves and leave me out of it, whatever) just saw an article this morning about how Jennifer Lopez, another incredibly over rated, over paid celeb, is considering converting to it.

I won't do business with Citgo brand fuel stops. Citgo is owned by the Venezuelan government. I also boycott the Indiana toll road when I can.

Well I guess we offset each other on Citgo, Dave. But I'm with you on the Indiana toll road. But how do we get around it? uh oh

There are some decent alternatives. For me, it mostly boils down to time. It would also depend on origin and destination. US 20 pretty much parallels the toll road. And if coming up from the south east, US 30 & 33 are also decent alternatives.

Thanks. I'll check those out on the map. Mostly, I drive between Washington and Colorado on I-70. My navigator, a beautiful if persistant lass named D'Arcy, seems to love the toll road. scold

What do you think of the Joe Kennedy Citgo heating oil ads?

LOL I am guessing that the problem with native american gift shops is that they lie about the stock, which actually comes from Japan a lot of the time. Just imitations.
As far as Mel Gibson goes, some are still hung up on a few remarks he made when he was drunk, as if drunks never say stupid things that don't even make sense to them the next day. LOL

What reasons for the Walmart boycott, Wikked? I know there is a lot of criticism of Walmart, and am wondering what yours are after working there for those five years.
