Have him meet you half way hun. If you 've made a connection, have been getting to know eachother, and you both want to meet, no harm in taking the next step. You shouldn't go to his home town, nor he to your's the very first time you meet. You'll both be on neutral territory, and both have made the effort to meet the other. Don't do anything you are not 100% comfortable with.
That word (LOVE)is the best hook for the hungerd.but he lovesss me!

A photo is one thing. Meeting tells much more, don't you think??????I rather hae a thousand, I love you's, then none at all in a relationship!!!!(They think you know it already). A honest man, especially since he wants to meet you and stay with him, will supply, voluntarily references from work, family, etc. for you personally to telephone to discover and get to know him better. I have had this opportunity, and since I like to travel, have been offered my own place to sleep (not with him). That tells me a lot about him too.

Lorraine, I just wanted to add my two sense worth. I think it would be terrific if I had butterflies or if you like, fear about meeting someone whom I have strong feelings. I don't remember who said it above me but sometimes when you meet face to face, something just isn't what you expect. What the hell, you've come this far, now you have to find out and we all wish you total happiness.

Now on with adding my 2 cents worth...Well well why am i not suprised at the negative responses to this like i didnt expect it all.
Isnt that just human nature to judge and criticize someone we don't even know...did any one of us even meet this guy or what?? All of a sudden this poor guy can't even make it across our border because of this serious criminal record he's suppose to have or may have...geez Sequio...this is too crazy man

I have recently discovered about myself that i am also scared of women...not only scared to get hurt again but to top that off i cant trust women anymore after being cheated on(and more than once i might add). Ok maybe i'm too trusting and allowed that crap to happen.
Go with what you're heart is telling you to do ok Lorraine. The guy says he loves you...is there something strange about that word or what? Most people on these sites are so outta love they wouldnt know what it was if it knocked them on the head

I can understand your words here about trusting another, especially if they have not been faithful in your relationship.
