Since men spend alot of money on roses....flowers.....why don't they invent something to keep them alive longer....I realize the temp. has to be at 35% to keep them the longest.....it would be nice to have a clear cubicle to keep them in....that stayed at that temperature.....

What is it you're trying to keep alive longer?

The flowers or the men?

I used to build environmentally controlled curio cabinets.

Now I just need to know whether to build one large enough for a carnation or a cadaver.

dunno

Their is your chance to make Thousands.
Create a pedestal stand with a clear laminated latched box on top with vents in base.

Within the pedestal is a small refridgeration unit. Controls at back of Pedestal. This unit pumps into the laminated unit on top of the pedestal.

Simple and efficient. Pedestal designs wide and various. Your limited only by your imagination.

You make a tempting offer.

And now everyone’s going to think we’re married. rolling on the floor laughing

But serious, making unique products like that is my specialty. I used to do that sort of thing a while back. I still have all tools and supplies necessary to start up production again. I just have no incentive to do it.

Money does nothing for me. It never did. But if I had a girlfriend who wanted one I’m sure I could build her one. She’d have to buy her own flowers though. laugh

I could make a million on eBay if I wanted to. I just don’t wanna.

I rather mope around and dream about the things that Paws dreams of.

I’m not allowed to go into any details lest I get your thread pulled.
scold

But I will say that if I had a girlfriend who pulled on my thread once in a while I might be inclined to manufacture something for her.

That didn't sound right did it? cheers hug

This is true.

I used to always by my mother flowering shrubs for special occasions. Then I'd later plant them in the yard. Her yard was always full of flowers all summer long.

The best ones of all were the Rhododendron bushes I gave her for Mother’s day once. I planted them in a little flower bed right below the front picture window. They were just small plants when I started them, but over the years they grew into huge shrubs. I kept them well groomed and they flowered prolifically every year! It was like a never-ending gift.

The whole cut flower thing doesn’t do much for me. I’ll pick wild flowers, put them in a vase, and then they shrivel up I’ll just pick more. If everyone were like me there’d be no commercial flower shops. laugh

That's why I always like a potted plant of some kind instead of cut flowers. Chances are better it might live if I transplant it.
