I love watching the Ocean waves hit the beach or flames from a huge bonfire scattering spark's into the night sky,children playing and laughing in a park on a warm summer day,Kittens playing near the fireplace with a ball of yarn, nice white sheets and a cozy comforter. Watching the Loons on "Loon Lake" in Rangeley, Maine where we have a cabin on the lake...while the waters are still...at dusk. Listening to their erie sounds...and watching to waters ripple softly as they glide by.

Well, I've carped on about it before but the breath-taking views from the Italian coast - especially if there is a spectacular sunset! 
What keeps me going is the thought of my next trip.... A beautiful sunrise also, so serene and reassuring. The sound of the sea, of course - love it! Birds chirping, the morning chorus to wake up to and sleepy evensong.....
I am captivated by laughter, always, and the kindess of strangers - clearly completely ultruistic! And hugs.......
