So I have been sitting here at work thinking to myself today. About, how life can throw you in a rut, and you work hard to get out of it. I am doing well I'm just wondering how everyone else, gets out of their ruts?
Ruts can be very hard to pull oneself out of...but then there is a day or moment that will finally make you pull yourself up by the bootstrap, and do what you need to do...you're a survivor and will continue to be....
You are in your rut. You imagine your rut is made of thick sticky mud. The walls are high. You imagine climbing these walls as a difficult task. The more you climb to get out...the more the walls crumble. Everytime you dig harder to get out, the more planted you become.
Often we create mind-sets that are hard to break. We form patterns and images in our mind. This imagery we create can be both good & evil.
Try creating a new image. Easier said than done. Imagine yourself on solid ground, perhaps made of stone. Think of your problems more of a mountain. A solid mass. Imagine you must climb this mountain, the top is far but your feet are steady. You will not sink, you will not falter. The mission will be hard, but not impossible.
Sometimes you can change your perspective with out actually changing your physical scenery.

To put a little spin on the topic, sometimes being in a rut is a good thing. Too much changing can be worse than where you started from. Depends if the rut is rotten. If not, leave it be.
Thanks to you both, katie your insight is something i havent really thought about. It's not really about MY rut, as just to see about EVERYONE's ruts??
