Yes, it is better...If you have loved, then you have opened your heart to accept it. If you canot recieve and accept love, then anything called love by you is empty.

I thought I love someone at least I give everything I got, but I don't think it was love. At my age to me love it has another meaning and if I really, really find it and then lost it to me it will worth every minute it last!

The love of any is a gift,so to have been loved,is far better then to have not had it at all.
Something so good is not wrong, its the action's of that become hurtful. And like anyting, you live and learn.

Hell no. Ask someone who's never been in love what it feels like to have it ripped from them, and they'll tell you either, "I don't know" or "I guess it would suck". As someone who has and they'll say things like, "it feels like my heart got ripped out of my chest" or "there's an empty hole inside me where he/she once was"... things like that.

You can't miss what you've never experienced, and sometimes I wish I never had fallen in love because it wouldn't hurt so much to not have anyone now.

My heart's open to love, but my mind is wary of those that will hurt it.

What if you have the luck and real love comes knocking at your door, would you turn it down? Nothing is certain in life, no one knows how long we are going to live!.

Part of life is going through hurts. But its all worth it to take a chance. Life is too short to sit by and not being able to tell anyone you love them . Feelings need to be shared. You could have a friend you love that could pass away or disappoint you just as much as a partner could. Getting hurt sucks... been there many times. Hard not to dwell on it I know.

Problem is once a person has been hurt they are scared to put their heart out again. You miss so much when you can;t show another person how you care for them. Why are those words so scary.. why hold back.. I have no problem telling someone that i love them. Man or woman... I have met a few friends here that I tell I love. Why not?? I get to know them and I care and I love them. Even Roy... I tell him I love him as soon as I got to know him and felt it...even if we never get chance to meet or be together or things never work out.. we are here for one another and helping one another and sharing.. thats important.. and how lonely life could be if we could not open up to one another.

Instead of reiterating the expressions of Lilly, lol, I'll just say I agree wholeheartedly with her strong opinion. I would've rather just felt it once, the final time, without jaded inhibitions.

Unfournunatly we can't percieve the future, and so we can't predict how things in or life are going to turn out.
The person you are all talking about, you once loved, very much so,and with all that you where, and it was good, and you all shared what ever it was you shared, some of you even sharing children. And when you where in love with this person, you not only loved them,am more then certain you thought this would be the person you where going to spent the rest of your life with. And for whatever the reason you are no longer together, the fact still remains the same, you where both in love,or loved one another, and it felt good to have what you had,and to be loved, and to share.
So in having that love, try if you may to remeber how good you felt, and the good times you shared, and it would remind you of a few reason's how good you felt.
Most tend to reflect the negative things in life, but there are as many posative things to remeber if you allow yourself to.

Yet again, love is a gift, regardless who is giving it,so to have love is a precious gift to be gratful for, imagine the emptiness of never having been loved at all,by none.
