my 11-year-old came home today, and she had one heck of a story to tell.
a young man, nineteen or twenty, checked in as a visitor today, then hid out in the girl's restroom, accosting a young child. she got away, and he ran off. he then came BACK, and grabbed a NEW girl...
this time, the police were waiting, and he was arrested. she said that one parent wanted to confront him, but was denied...he wouldn't promise to keep his hands to himself.
there's currently nothing on the news, and the school didn't send home anything on the matter.
we don't get memos from schools about things unless it's a fake bomb scare, and then a day or so later.
The Keene school was very strict about who goes in or not. Yet, my son was missing from a class for two weeks at the time, and I got a letter waaay after the event. He never left the school. He went to a different lunch, and they saw him!
That's an appropriate punishment, but not effective. It's not about that, it's about the control part and the terror. Many of these pervs can't even get it up.
Cutting off a foot or part of a leg would be more effective, he would have a hard time getting away, and be easily recognized. Second offense, cut off a hand.
