The one I had when I was younger of my grandfather sitting up in a coffin with totally black eyes still messes with me from time to time but I didn't scream anything
He passed on not to long after
But I still have the dream for some reason

Wow, my worst nightmare came back to me like it was yesterday, but in fact it was when I was a little girl. Very scary. Don't want to go back there.

The absolute worst dream I ever had was a dream in a dream in a dream that I couldn't wake up from. Every time I woke up there was a new weird clock in a new weird setting, I was going nuts trying to wake myself up in the dream, slapping myself, screaming, everything. When I finally did really wake up it took me a minute to make sure the clock and everything was the way it was supposed to be. I asked my dh if I was doing anything weird in my sleep, cause it felt like I was, but he said no. Don't know what that dream meant, looking back, maybe that I wanted out, I just know I was so relieved when I did wake up.

I have had the same style dream three times, and always at the same ages of the child.
I have dreamt that ny child gets bitten by a venemous snake,( which is not a big deal in it's self, we have 100's) and no matter what my efforts, I cannot save them and they die.
I have this dream with three of my children now, and always around the time they hit puberty, 12.
Death of the child, accepting the emerging adult.
Sometimes, subconscious sucks....

i had the worst last night. i dreamt i was camping with my family and my little boy and his cousin shooting water guns at each other they both hurt their eye so i was checking to see if they were ok when there was a dead body in the lake.. theres more . but its a long nightmare. and i woke up saying oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. it scared me so bad i wouldn't go back to sleep.i hate nightmares.

dreamt I heard a gunshot from the neighbors house..and kneeling
on my bed I looked out the window and watched this black figure
walking toward our house..toward my window....I quickly laid back'
on my bed and pulled the covers up over my head....I tried to quit
breathing...and be as quiet as I could...and I could hear the footsteps
on the grass outside my window..and I could hear him / it breathing...
I was holding the covers over my head...teeth clenched..shaking with
fear...and then I heard a "clic" of the gun being cocked....
then I woke up....I was 8 or 9 yrs old....still vivid in my mind...
on my bed I looked out the window and watched this black figure

I've been shot, stabbed, hit by a train, fell of a flying dragon(that one I woke up on the floor) Hit by a car I don't know how many times, kicked by a horse, tried to save my brother from falling and went through the roof of a house all the way through and into some water and drown.

then also my son got ran over by someone backing up with a jet ski it hurt him real bad. one of his arms was all messed up..

yeah i know the feeling. its scary as hell. one time a while back me and my son on 2 different nights dreamt that i got shot. he woke up saying my mommy got shot. now that really blew my mind. then for a long time i was worried when i was really gonna get shot. yikes.

The dreams where I was falling forever. But the worse one was when I dreamed there was a man who walked through a room and just started to kill everyone. He pointed the gun at me and fired, but it didn't hit me....so realistic.

Funny that you bring that up. I've had the typical nightmares that most have, drowning, shot, stabbed, hit by car, on fire, being chased, falling, etc. but at the end of the day, I haven't died in any of them. Hope that's a good sign, LOL.
