Child of the 80's....don't know if it's all that crazy, but as kids in the mall (there's the 80s).....we used to take the elevator at Buffums, Sears, Robinsons.....shoot we did'em all...
and if you manually open the doors from the inside it stalls the elevator (good for a couple of minutes)
A couple of times it actually stalled the elevator for 10-20 min.
THAT was AWESOME!

Just around dusk on the lighted lawn of a very popular bank which just happens to be on a very busy interstate.
Another is in the largest park in one of the largest cities in the U.S. on the weekend and anyone paying attention would have gotten a thrill.
