They say that the american women are very stupid and noise. They talk a lot, so they don't really understand the meaning of "giving space"...they do that when they are out for shopping.
On the other hand, they don't like very clever women either...all they want is to be free to sleep at the bars. All women should understand that.

To be honest, there are no differences..just over-generalisation i assumed.
Both women are brought up in different environment and they acquired environment traits etc....which therefore make a person, A PERSON with personalities.
For me, both american n british women r they same..it depends who you mix with, from what background..but to be honest...whatever women u find in america you can find in britain too...
and to ans your question why brit men hate american women, i dunno about that but from what i see..I THINK it's becos american women know what they want n they're very independent...maybe tht's why....

i am ashamed to watch american tourists in europe....and especially and often the women are the worst. they are loud and demanding and totally unaware of the fact that they are a guest in our country. they expect service immediately as they were used to in the states and they are often illmannered and ungrateful when they get it.they are arrogant and desperate, competitive and catty.... they rarely have elegance or education in terms of respecting the one that serves them...alltogether.... a sad lot
one of the most noble actions a person can take is that of service....to serve one's fellow man/woman is an honor and should be so recognized in any field it presents itself.
for those of us who are the recipients of any service , entitlement simply because we pay for it is petty and trivial....
kindness and gentility go very far here in europe....

I don't have anything against American woman. Or any nationslity for that matter. As long as they are honest and truthful with me and respect my opinion, then they will have the same in return.

Unfortunately I witnessed the same behaviour by American tourists over and over when I visited London.
I am friends with many American citizens who are anything but disrespectful but there is a reason for the reputation abroad I am saddened to say.
I have absolutely no sense of direction and was lost constantly. I relied on the kindness of strangers that I stopped on the street to point me in the right direction. 9 times out of 10 they said 'you must be Canadian'. It surprised me because our accents are very similar. I asked why they thought that ... and the reply was that I was so polite.
I witnessed a few Canadian school groups while I was there as well. Their behaviour was appalling - loud, obnoxious and a sense of entitlement. The view of Canadians will be in toilet soon enough too it seems...

Rude behavior? Can't top the busload of french tourists men and women in Neueschwanstein I personally witnessed get off their bus and immediatley try to bully their way to the top of the line. One bad example to confirm a stereotype.

hmm...but u see...tourist travelling would react differently from them not being tourist in their own country. Im sure some of you would go somehwere n tend to find urself more enthusiatic or tense up about things...even taking the bus.....or queue-ing up etc...maybe it's just a touristic thingie tht is going on..no harm ppl wanna get more things done during their hols...but in a sane n appropriate manner of course

I completly agree...Europe is not a federation, hence, the culture isnt really ONE. There are so many differences within Europe regarding to relationships...
Though the cultures might be different around the USA, you have been much more in contact with eachother than the european had been...
The Spanish, right here beside, are so different to the portuguese...
