RE: Guys, Shes always too young, too old or too far away.

Doesn't matter how far away they are are, or how old. I can have any woman I please.

I just don't please anyone!tongue

What's the difference between just wanting to date and being a player?

What's the dividing line?confused

RE: WERE HAVE ALL THE GOOD GUYS GONE???

God bless the ladies, I love 'em in all shapes, sizes, colours, and flavours. Be a cold harsh world without 'em!

RE: Am I to old for this site

I like what my grandfather said to me when he was 85. (He made it to 100)

"I feel just like I did when I was 35, as long as I don't try to do any of the things I did when I was 35."

Feel old? Go to the Zoo and look at Galapagos Tortoises. They're young at 100. Keeps me feeling spry!wave

RE: what type of work do you do

I turn jet fuel into noise at 35 thousand feet.

RE: Why do Kamikaze Pilots wear Helmets?

What's another word for Thesaurus?confused

RE: What do you APPRECIATE about you?

Plants love me whenever I walk into a room with them as I have learned without any conscious thought whatsoever to extract oxygen from the air around them and exchange it for the life giving carbon dioxide they so deeply crave.

RE: what does your name say about you

Read too much T.H. White as a boy.

RE: IF YOU COULD DO ANY OCCUPPATION FOR A DAY WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Ambassador to Thailand. (I like Thai food)!

RE: i am 27 years old,how can i share something with an 40 or 50 year old man?

If it's a problem for you then simply don't date older men. As attractive as you appear to be you shouldn't have any trouble finding nice young men closer to your age. Why look for trouble?

RE: All men

Older women, aren't shy, know what they want, and don't play games. What's not to like?

RE: Do you think that age matters in a relationship?

It used to matter a lot to me. Time was I wouldn't consider anyone outside my immediate age range. But I've lost enough friends over the years (flying and motorcycles can be horribly unforgiving) to realize that know one knows how much time they have left to play on this planet.

Age alone is not an accurate indicator of how much time you'll have together. I think if you find a true soul connection with someone, then go for it, hang on to her like grim death, and ignore what others think.

Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

RE: what are the best reasons not to drink?

There's a difference between drinking and drinking to the point of getting falling down drunk. You don't have to do everything to excess.

Sharing good wine, good beer, good food, and good conversation with good friends is priceless.

RE: The answer to life is....

You don't have to love each other but at least be polite.

RE: Anyone have thier heartbroken by an online Partner?

Did he ride his bike to the show? Riding is different with a passenger, frankly it's a lot more fun to ride solo and open her up! I'm sure he just wanted to play with the boys for a couple of hours. We need to do guy stuff once in a while, it makes us feel better like you ladies going to get your nails and hair done. Besides, you're too pretty to ignore for long!

age difference, how important

Actually the assumption was that the relationship would end in murder. Which is obviously an extreme view falling under the heading of "humour"

age difference, how important

Heard someone younger than I say that me that age is just a number and as long as each loves the other age doesn't matter. I think thats simplistic.

Seems to me age is only a number if one is interested in a one night stand. For any LTR it becomes more important the greater the age difference. At some point it must become impossible. And it's not just the physical difference, its a whole set of cultural references that don't converge.

At some point that sweet young thing is going to decide the rides over, have you whacked for the insurance and run off with the 19 year old gardener because as we all know, men are romantic and women are practical.

Anyone have first hand knowledge of May December love stories, successes and trainwrecks? What do you think the maximum age difference is for a happy long term monogamous romance?

RE: men... Would you marry a woman much taller?

You're the same height when you're lying in bed.

RE: All women are married until they can find a better man.

I can't remember who but it was some french writer who wrote

"After a man turns 40 he is only attractive to women if he has money or a good story"

RE: Moving out of the USA

If you want to live and work in Europe, an EU passport opens a lot of doors. By chance are you a dual national? Even if you weren't born in Europe you may qualify for citizenship if a parent or even a grandparent (in some cases) was born in an EU country. Hope this helps...

RE: "Do you think she's prettier than me?" OMG, typical, you better get it right.

I thought the operative rule was that it doesn't matter where you work up an appetite as long as you come home for dinner.

RE: anyone tasted Haggis so difficult to catch but worth it in the end

Fair enough, I'd be willing to try it. Especially if was "piped" into the room. I love bagpipes!

RE: anyone tasted Haggis so difficult to catch but worth it in the end

For my colonial friends, Haggis is the liver, lungs, and heart of a sheep, ground together with spices and oatmeal, sewn into a sheeps stomach with room for expansion and boiled.

I leave it to your imagination as to whether or not it's tasty. Scottish people eat it because they feel it's a matter of national honour, like apple pie for Americans. Apart from the Scots I don't know anyone else who eats it and even the Scots try to restrict themselves to just one day a year.

Enough said!

RE: anyone tasted Haggis so difficult to catch but worth it in the end

She's havin you on, mate!

RE: I Dare you All...Be Honest If you Can...

The romantic side of me declares I would move anywhere and do anything for my one true love and when I was younger I did.

The practical side of me, now tempered by my many years of painfully acquired wisdom thinks there is no one perfect girl in the world for me, there are actually lots and lots of women out there who could be my soulmate so wouldn't it be better to hold out for the one who lives close by, has a sportstcar, and whose parents own a pub?

RE: Hawii Guys - Why do none of you have photos?

Maybe they're embarrassed to be photographed on their mopeds. dunno

RE: common lies that men tell women?

According to Chris Rock the comedian, men small lies all the time... "I'm out just going for an hour....Honestly, that dress doesn't make you look fat"

women don't lie often but they tell bigger lies, "It's your baby!"doh

RE: Whats it take to find a good man now days?

Well, it's a serious question and I'm a fairly superficial guy but here goes. First, it's a cliche but it's true that no one can make you happy except yourself. You need to have your life in order and feel positive about yourself. Have a job or hobby you're passionate about and feel comfy chatting about.

Second, smile at the world around you. Someone previously made a fishing analogy and a nice smile makes a great lure.

After that, don't be rude but do be honest, be yourself and if he doesn't run away screaming maybe it will work. Lastly, don't ever kid yourselves about men. Our personality is fixed by the time we're 5 years old. You're NOT going to change us! If you don't like what you see, walk away!

Cheers,

Merlyn
