fordhenrybh, India2 Threads 2 PostsI live in the Midwest and met a woman in California on a trip and have been communicating by phone since last year. I would not ordinarily pursue a long distance relationship but the woman is from Russia and has been in the US for 3 or 4 years. I am not experienced at the LD relationships but thought since she was from Russia if would be more acceptable to her to be involved in this type of relation. Is that true? I may go back west soon and don't know how quickly to move forward. She is more honest and straightforward than most US women I have met. Any advice is appreciated.

Yes, I agree with you, Konigsberg, I fel though he should be carefull, just as with any woman. Dont rush into anything. There are good and bad in any race or nationality. Scamers are every where,not just in Russia.

i would say go for it but proceed with caution...i had a similar experience some time ago...the end result was that just before we were to meet she had an "emergency" in wich she had to go back to russia...and our ability to meet was directly related to my willingness to send money to russia for her "return" to the us...i didnt buy into it...of course when i was hesitant i never heard from her again...hope your experience is better...best of luck to you.
