Not much really planned for the easter weekend. My son goes to his dads to celebrate his birthday on that side of the family for the day (Dylan just turned 9 yesterday...April 5th)
Sunday we are going to my sisters for easter supper. Other than that. That is about it.

On Saturday, I'm going to Halifax to see Il Divo in concert. 
with a girl friend. My children don't live close by, so no family get togethers for me. Having no family here is probably the hardest thing for me to get used to as a single person. So I'm looking forward to getting away and having some fun! Probably not a good venue for meeting single men, as I am sure THEY are not lined up to watch 4 hot men sing in a foreign language

Happy Easter Everyone!! l am going to my sister's tonight (Friday) for a family get together. Parents have a surprise for us and they have asked that all us kids are there. l lost my grandfather a few months ago and l think it has something to do with the will, quess we will see.
l have both my kids this weekend so we are having a easter egg hunt on sunday morning and then l am cooking a special dinner and my daughter and her boyfriend and my youngest will be here with me for the day.
So its a great weekend for me.....

Hey peoplez! Happy Easter to all of you and find lots of treats.
Anyhow i am going out to my parents farm today with the kids and we are going to disassemble an old hay shed and build an Easterfire.
Easterfires are tradition in Germany they were built about 2 stories high and were about 30 to 40 feet in diameter.
On Easter Sunday when dusk came they were lit and burned into the early morning hours of the next day.
They are meant to drive away the Winter and Cold Spirits and bring Spring. That tradition is quite old and is still kept up. But today its not really more then a reason for the locals to get drunk lol

well l found out today what the big surprise my parents had for all us kids. lt wasnt the will, its a 2 week holiday next february at walt disney world in florida. we will be staying right on ewalt disney world grounds and enjoying 2 weeks of nothing but fun and swimming. 7 days and nights at walt disney world and then a few more days sightseeing and they are paying for everything except souviners.
Now l call that a great easter present.

We were up at 6 this morning. My little guy was so excited that he had to look for eggs. You should have seen his face, so very cute. And every time he found one he would say to us "I told you he would come, I told you." He found about half of them I think.
He hasn't been in the kitchen, so he hasn't seen the other stuff on the table...... Try to do as much as possible there with as little light possible..... Want him to turn the light on and find it. Didn't need to spend as much money as I did, he is very happy already, watching tv now.....

Happy Easter - hope the bunny was good to you....it's 9am and kids are just starting to wake up.. We're not big on the chocolate and candy so they are excited about other things..
